Island Crabapple Jelly

This clear stunning jelly with a sweet yet tart aftertaste adds zing to many dishes. Try either our mild or spicy version with cream cheese and bagels or add a little punch to your muffins, French toast or waffles.

Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of our crabapple jelly to any BBQ or stirfry sauce for a special taste treat.

Crabapple Citrus Sauce

Serves 4 – Adds a finishing touch to prawns, scallops, halibut, chicken, pork roast or lamb.

Mix 2-3 tablespoons per person of crabapple jelly in a sauce pan on medium to low heat.

Whisk in

1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons lemon rind
2 tablespoons brandy, sake, wine or orange juice

Finish with

2 teaspoons of butter
A couple twists of a pepper mill is always a nice addition.
